I wanted to share a great video from Plate to Planet about the harmful impact of Factory Farming on our health and our environment. Factory Farming is the basis of the American food system. It refers to raising livestock in confinement and high stock density in order to produce the most food for the lowest cost possible. The desire to achieve the lowest cost possible, takes precedence over the health of the animals and ultimately the safety of the food produced.
